mixed media assemblage artist of recycled and salvaged materials

Passageways is a cinematic assemblage series of travel-inspired scenes set within small cabinet drawers utilizing recycled found objects and vintage photographs of foreign cities, countryside crossings, architectural wonders and various forms of transportation capable of taking us there. Nostalgic memories caught at a glimpse usher us through portal passageways where we briefly appear as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, or as a rippled reflection in water under the tunnel’s bridge.  Our rotating world stands still in these captured, reflective moments reminding us that our lives may revolve around  individual experiences, but we remain unified in our hopeful longing, sense of adventure and exploration of ourselves.
